One of the best free walking tours I’ve been on. Really interesting, would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
— Emily, Melbourne, Australia

This is probably the best free walking tour on my trip so far. Peter is very intelligent and can tell a lot about Amsterdam’s rich history. I really enjoyed the tour.
— Joshua, Hong Kong, China

A great way to get to know the city, see some beautiful buildings, and learn about the history to put everything into perspective.

When and where?

Where does the tour depart from?

What time do I have to be there?

The Awe-inspiring Amsterdam Tour (on the city's history and culture) leaves every working day at 11am. The Sinful City Tour (on the Red Light District and the Dutch liberal drug policies) leaves every working day at 2pm.

The Wadden Islands and the Oerol festival

The biggest Wadden island is Texel. It is also the fastest one to reach from Amsterdam. If you are just looking to just spend a couple of days away from Amsterdam on a beautiful island, this may be the best option for you.

Towns outside of Amsterdam worth visiting

Want to see something a bit more modern? Rotterdam and Eindhoven have just the modern feel that you're looking for. Rotterdam is the bigger one of the two with amazing nightlife and good restaurants and bars.

Traditional Dutch food

One typically Dutch sweet snack that you have to try are stroopwafels. We do recommend them, but we also have to warn you: they are addictive.
